SPANISH FOUNDATIONS
Fundación La Caixa
Open Call 2010 is now closed. It was directed to students with Spanish nationality who had already finished their bachelor degree or wiere going to finish it by June 2010.
Deadline was on April, the 7th, at 14:00 h
Students who wanted to perform TCCM Master studies could have applied for a different modality of scholarship depending on the country where they would like to study:
- In Spain

A change on University from the one where you got your degree and on the Autonomic Region is mandatory. The scholarship will cover the tuition fees, a monthly payment of 1300 euro and an unique payment of 1000 euro for initial travel and installation expenses.
- In France

Students should enroll in a French University mandatorily. The scholarship will cover the tuition fees, a tourist plane ticket, a monthly payment of 1500 euro and an unique payment of 1100 euro for initial travel and installation expenses.
- In Belgium, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Sweden or The Netherlands

Students should mandatorily enroll in a University belonging to one of the mentioned countries. The scholarship will cover the tuition fees, a tourist plane ticket, a monthly payment of 1400 euro and an unique payment of 1100 euro for initial travel and installation expenses.
Fundación Caja Madrid
- Grants for postgraduate studies
Open Call is now closed (deadine was on January 29nd, 2010) but the rules for applications on the 2010-2011 call can be checked here.
They were destined for students with Spanish nationalitiy who have already finished their bachelor degree or will finish it by June 2010. They should enroll in a postgraduate program in a European University (not Spanish), for the course 2010-2011. Chemistry and Physics are among the fields of interest.
Grants cover registration fees, insurance, initial accomodation and travel expenses and a monthly payment, for a maximum period of 12 months.
Fundación Ramón Areces
- Grants for post-docs
Open Call is now closed. It was directed to students with Spanish nationalitiy, having obtained their PhD between 2006 and 2010. They should have developed their post-doc in a University or research centre abroad, along 2010-2011. Chemistry and Physics were among the fields granted.
Deadline was on March 31st. The rules and procedure for application can be found here
Fundación Ibercaja
- Grants for postgraduate research activities
Open Call is now closed (deadine was on March 12th, 2010) but the rules for applications on the 2010-2011 call can be checked here.
They were destined for students with Spanish nationalitiy who have already finished their bachelor degree or will finish it by June 2010. They should enroll in a research proyect in a European University (not Spanish), for the course 2010-2011. Applied Technologies are among the fields of interest.
Grants did not cover registration fees, and were thougth for research proyects to be developed in a maximum period of 12 months. The total ammount of the grant was 20000 euro, including travel expenses.

They were destined for students with Spanish nationalitiy who have already finished their doctorate studies. They should have enrolled in a research proyect in a European University or Research Centre (not Spanish), for the course 2010-2011. Applied technologies are among the fields of interest.
Grants were thougth for research proyects to be developed in a maximum period of 12 months. The total ammount of the grant was 30000 euro, including travel expenses.
