Our JDP is essentially focused in research activities in TCCM, that is why we have also integrated in the program education activities devoted to provide the Doctoral candidate with basic and advanced research skills, which are rarely contemplated in the doctoral studies of the European Universities. Among them,
- Communication in scientific research, including both scientific writing and oral presentations,
- Formulation of a research work plan, definition of objectives, timing, testing hypothesis,
- Literature review and searching of scientific information,
- Group working and networking (including the organization of a Doctoral Candidate's Forum and an Alummni Association)
- Language module to be fluid in a second (or third) European language besides English,
- Management of research projects. Including the preparation and delivering of (written and oral) progress reports,
- Leadership, guiding and teaching abilities (in the last part of their doctorate studies) by co-supervising Master students or beginners.
- Dissemination of scientific results (including the development of a TCCM Newsletter and Wikipedia)
- Computational skills (including adaptaion of scientific codes to HPC and HTC environments)
- Approaching of Hot Topics and latest advances in methodology and applications in TCCM
Many of these activities will be developed in different European Institutions and Organisations
